KOTOBUKIYA AkihabaraKan is a hobby shop with an impressive inventory in Akihabara, even when compared to large retailers. It carries character goods, plastic models, figurines, magazines, souvenirs, capsule-toys, etc.
There are four KOTOBUKIYA stores in Japan, but the main store is in Akihabara.
It is in a big, green building located just 3minutes from Electric Town Exit JR Akihabara.
Floor Guide
Shopping floors are 1~3F, while 4・5F consist of event spaces.

On the 1st floor, you can find merchandise from franchises popular among all genders and generations, such as Ghibli, Pokemon and Super Mario. Many are good presents for kids and anyone who feels like one.
The 2nd floor specializes in anime goods and cosplays. It is more reflective of otaku culture rather than focusing on worldwide popular series.
Plastic models and figurines are sold on the 3rd floor. Also, they have the tools necessary for those interested in assembling models.
There are figurines and plastic models displayed around the store. Taking pictures of decorations is allowed.
KOTOBUKIYA is an anime goods store that is not over the top, full of explicit figurines or plastic models mostly targeted toward collectors. It is a family-friendly, fun store with something for every family member.
