Find the Rarest Figures and Anime Goods in Jungle Akihabara

Akihabara, known as an anime and game town, has a massive number of hobby stores that carry anime and game products. The one that stands out the most for its selection of figures is the hobby-store chain Jungle.

Jungle Akihabara

There are three Jungle stores in Akihabara: Jungle Akihabara 1, Jungle Akihabara 1.5, and Akihabara Jungle 2. All are within walking distance of the largest station in Akihabara, less than six minutes away from it.

  • Jungle Akihabara 1 – six minutes from JR Akihabara Station
  • Jungle Akihabara 1.5 – three minutes from JR Akihabara Station
  • Jungle Akihabara 2 – one minute from JR Akihabara Station

Out of these three, Jungle Akihabara, 2 is the best choice for those visiting Akihabara for the first time. It is on the 7th floor of Radio Kaikan, a famous Akihabara landmark. It is also a large selection of anime and game products, such as figures, superalloy, power ranger, and bishojo toys.

Aside from goods featuring characters from popular classic anime and live-action series and games, it carries action figures from currently trending series and movies. Countless figures are displayed in front of the store many of which are quite rare and difficult to find. If you don’t have the time, you don’t even need to go inside, taking a look at the display outside will leave you without breath.

This is the entrance of Jungle Akihabara 2 where Ultraman is welcomes the customers.

The most popular figures are those made by Figma and Nendoroid.

Figma makes incredibly intricate figures while Nendoroid creates adorable highly-detailed figures with oversized heads.

Figma and Nendoroid have figurines from many popular anime, movie, and game franchises. They have StarWars, Marvel, Indiana Jones, Harry Potter figures. They are a great Akihabara souvenir.

This is a Titan 3 live-size station from Jungle Akihabara 1. It looks like an exhibition piece but it is indeed for sale. Still, its price is very high but probably not nearly enough to stop a true collector.

It is worth noting that there is one more store in Akihabara with the same name that is spelled differently – Jan-gle. This store carries imported smartphones, magazines, used games, and laptops. Jan-gle is a fine second-hand store, but if you are looking for figurines, be careful not to mix them up.
