Have you heard of Radio Kaikan? It is one of the must-visit places in Akihabara.
Radio Kaikan is a commercial building erected in 1952. It has been reconstructed in 2014 and has been a famous Akihabara landmark ever since.
It is easily accessible from all stations near Akihabara.

- Five minutes from Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line Akihabara station – exits 2・3

Just look for a large yellow signboard and you can’t miss it.
This is the first Radio Kaikan store opened. However, presently there are over 30 stores that mostly carry souvenirs, figures, and toys.

It is best to start from the top and finish with the first floor where souvenirs are.
It is like Akihabara in one building. There are electronics, trading cards, anime goods, souvenirs, etc. It even has a convenience store where you can get some refreshments.
