Karaoke
Karaoke is a type of entertainment originated in Japan, in which an amateur singer sings along with recorded music synchronized with lyrics displayed on-screen. You can rent a room and have a private party with your friends. Many Japanese use it alone as well, as a way to release stress.
Except for singing, you can eat, drink or even sleep there.
You can keep ordering throughout the night and if you choose a night pack, you can stay until the morning. It is a more affordable option to a hotel though it can be a bit loud if there is a big group in the adjacent room.
There are many Karaoke stores in Akihabara, but these are the closest to JR Akihabara.

Internet café
As the name says, internet cafés give you access to the internet, but also offer a variety of comic books.
They are all open 24 hours a day and most have special night packs more affordable than regular accommodation.
Wa Style Café which is a rare Japanese-style café inspired by Japanese traditional inns – ryokan. Because of that, it has a warmer and more luxurious atmosphere. Because these types of cafés are more oriented towards customers traveling alone, they are a quieter option than karaoke if you are looking for a good night’s sleep.
It is popular among tourists, so we recommend you reserve in advance.
(You can make a reservation in Japanese, English or Chinese on their homepage)
