Akihabara Station Lockers

Sightseeing can be tough when you are carrying a change of clothes and bunch of souvenirs wherever you go.

If your hotel is not in Akihabara, you will have nowhere to leave your stuff.

In that case, we recommend you use a coin locker!

Look for a locker before you pass the ticket gate

There are many coin lockers on both, the ground and the first floor. If you pay attention, you will see them on your way to the gate.

However, in order to pick up your things, you will have to go back to the terminal area. That is why we recommend you use the ones outside the ticket gate if you are not planning on using JR on your way back to the hotel.

There tons of lockers on the first floor!

Next to the escalator leading to the second floor, you will see a Ghachapon machine tucked in among coin lockers.

There is a lot, isn’t it?

Here is the place with the most lockers inside the ticket gate.

If there are no available lockers, go to the ground floor

There are also coin lockers somewhere in between the Electric Town and Central Gate.

Unfortunately, fewer lockers are placed here, but you can check them out if the ones on the first floor are all occupied.

Good news is that you don’t have to pay in cash since you can use they accept electric money.

How much is it?

The price depends on the size. The smallest lockers are 400yen, the middle ones are 500 and the biggest ones are 600. They are big enough to fit a smaller suitcase.

Why not try out station coin lockers and enjoy your Akihabara trip without any extra baggage!
